When a pipeline is structurally sound but shows signs of infiltration, grouting may be the solution you are looking for. By setting up over a manhole, the equipment is pulled into the pipeline, where each joint and crack can be pressure tested and then grouted if the pressure test fails. All of this done with the following advantages:
- No disruption to the service of the mainline or lateral
- Very cost effective
- Laterals can be sealed from the mainline up 6 feet into the lateral
- Small footprint of equipment on the street; only one truck
- Grouting can be done on pipelines ranging in size from 6″ to 48″
Green Mountain Pipeline Services offers the latest testing/sealing equipment from Aries, American Logiball and utilizes Avanti Grouts.
